Today's parliamentary session was characterized by debates and clashes. The protagonist was once again Sali Berisha, who clashed with SP deputies, attacking and accusing them.
It was Socialist MP Blerina Gjylameti who reacted in outrage at Berisha's language. She also recounted an episode in which Berisha fired her mother and father from their jobs.
" Dear Doctor, I will say dear because of your age. The first reply we had together dates back to 2014. I had not been in this parliament for long and when I stood up, I stood up and got married Doctor, and the first reply we had was about the inappropriate language of an elderly gentleman towards ladies, and I stood up here nearby.
And one thing I remember from your appearance was that frightened look on a woman's face when she approached you to tell you to stop using this language, because it doesn't suit her age, her gray hair, the father of a daughter, or the trial of her granddaughters, but also not a man who, when he came to power, came for free speech, for democracy.
" And in the meantime, Doctor, I want to say one thing, today I will stand up for what I told you a little while ago and I will continue to say it, the language you use is the most shameful language for your age ," Gjylameti addressed him, while further bringing to the Assembly the dismissals that Berisha made in the family while he was in power.
" On the other hand, I'll tell you one thing, my husband's name is Kostika Gjylameti and in my family you were not considered a fair, correct person. You are the man who fired my mother and father in one day. You mentioned my father-in-law, here and mentioned me as part of the nemoklatura, you are the one who mentioned my father ," said Gjylameti.
