Former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj has reacted to the statements of SPAK leader Altin Dumani. The latter reported today to the Assembly and stated that if Ahmetaj wants to cooperate with justice, they are open.
Ahmetaj, speaking on "Syri TV", said when he would come to Tirana and end his escape.
" I'll come there, but you tell me everything, so that the truth comes out. Prosecutor Gokaj says in the "Buka" file that the accusation that Ahmetaj has damaged the interests of the state is a slip of the tongue. Come on, but you didn't leave the media without telling them that the damage that Ahmetaj has done is 7 million euros. But the truth is that Ahmetaj has protected the interests of the state. If I had violated the law, today the private sector would be eating Albanians' money. Today the private sector is eating its own money. It's ridiculous. For what crime should I become an accomplice? For the incinerators that I did not sign. That I opposed ," he said.
