Democratic Party MP Flutura Açka spoke about the current state of this political force. She emphasized the urgent need for the DP to have a true leader at its helm, and not a weak or commanding figure.
"The Democratic Party needs a real leader, a leader who gives voice and dignity to the opposition, not a plasticine doll ," Açka told "Dritare Tv".
This statement comes at a turbulent time for the Democratic Party, where internal tensions and divisions continue to dominate political discourse.
Açka, a critical voice within the Democratic parliamentary group, has been among the few who has spoken openly about internal problems and the need for deep reform.
She added that the opposition cannot function as a real alternative to the government if it does not find integrity and clear direction from within itself.
"The time for experimentation is over. Albania needs a strong, credible opposition led by people of character," concluded Açka.
