The Electoral College has rejected the Democratic Party's lawsuit and certified the May 11 parliamentary elections.
The DP requested that the elections be declared invalid, but the College dismissed this lawsuit, considering these elections regular.
The decision was made by majority vote and is not appealable as it is final.
The session at the Electoral College had started at 10:00 this morning (September 4).
The Democratic Party, through its representative, Franc Nuri, requested the overturning of the Regulatory Commission's decision because it comes after an electoral process that the opposition calls a farce, with allegations of irregularities in the process, the use of administration, state resources in the elections, etc.
