Former DP MP Myslim Murrizi has stated that the departure of Sali Berisha would split the Democratic Party into several factions.
He describes Berisha as a "careless hunter" who has promoted artificial figures and weakened the party. According to Murriz, the current leaders who have failed should surrender their mandates.
He emphasized that the DP needs deep reorganization and a move away from decision-making without transparency.
" In these conditions, Sali Berisha has been like a careless hunter. He has gone to kill the squirrels and has killed the hunting dogs. He has tried to create fake and artificial figures, he has failed. If Berisha leaves tomorrow, there will be 7 DPs. One will create one, one for another. The DP only offered me the logo, I had many against it and I received over 7500 votes.
"Berisha should no longer be a hostage to his word. He gave the floor to some figures there, they left and came back and he brought everyone into the party without primaries, district leaders. All district leaders who have received fewer deputies than the closed list, should leave and if they have any morals, they should hand over their mandate ," he said on "News 24".
