Analyst Edvin Kulluri spoke about tensions within the Democratic Party, while rejecting the current leadership's claims that MP Ervin Salianji has "self-excluded" from the party.
According to Kullur, the statements of the DP leaders do not hold up and indicate a serious political and organizational crisis within the largest opposition force.
" I don't know where they invented self-exclusion, it's nonsense. I don't know that Salianji excluded himself ," the analyst told News24.
He also referred to the accusations made by Sali Berisha and Flamur Noka, according to which the meeting held in Elbasan was organized by Salianji in collaboration with organized crime.
Kulluri emphasized that similar accusations have been made before within the DP, mentioning that Gazment Bardhi had raised suspicions about Berisha's meetings in Elbasan.
"Bardhi today sticks his head under the table like an ostrich and does not clearly say who has met with organized crime in Elbasan, Berisha or Salianji. Politics cannot be done with coffee shop talk, anyone can make it up ," declared Kulluri.
The analyst demanded transparency and concrete evidence from the DP leaders, emphasizing that in their absence, the accusations are unfounded.
"There is no evidence here. If there is evidence, they should make it public. Otherwise, they should resign together with Salianji ," he said.
