Democratic Party MP, Jozefina Topalli, from the Parliament podium requested the presence of Prime Minister Edi Rama in parliamentary sessions.
She criticized the absence of the head of government in the Assembly, emphasizing that he is absent even in cases where debated motions or interpellations are held.
"The Prime Minister is not an influencer. All previous Prime Ministers have been to the Assembly. Why doesn't the Prime Minister come when there is a motion? An interpellation? Why doesn't he come when there is no discussion? We demand an answer, Mr. Speaker," she said.
