The Council of Ministers has replaced the Secretary General of the Prime Minister's Office. Engjëll Agaçi has been removed from office after 13 years in this position.
The decision was announced by Prime Minister Edi Rama at an informal meeting of ministers, where he also introduced Agaç's successor, Elsonida Rama.
She currently heads the Codification Directorate at the Ministry of Justice. Rama participated in the working group for the drafting of the new Criminal Code. She previously held positions in the Legal Directorate of the Prime Minister's Office.
With this appointment, the administration of the Prime Minister's Office passes under the direction of Elsonida Rama.

Meanwhile, we emphasize that Agaç's departure comes after he appeared several times at the Special Prosecutor's Office regarding several issues and tenders with 'red flags'.
