The Special Prosecution Office has reacted to a statement by DP leader Sali Berisha, in which he said that according to his information, an anonymous person named Zaho Koka has sent information to SPAK about Ols Rama.
In a response to 'Ora News' journalist Isa Myzyraj, SPAK says that it has asked the National Bureau of Investigation, and from their response it did not result that the person named Zaho Koka has filed any information.
SPAK says: " Based on the statement made in the media, the Head of the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, Mr. Altin Dumani, has addressed the Director of the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH) through a letter dated 13.01.2025, to make the necessary verifications, whether any letter has been sent to the BKH by the citizen mentioned as Zaho Koka, providing information about the citizen Ols Rama, as well as the kidnapping of a businessman with the initials VB.
Through this letter, the Head of the Special Prosecution Office, Mr. Altin Dumani, requested whether such information has been sent, whether any BKH investigator has been registered or assigned (which one) and whether its verification has been carried out. Mr. Dumani also requested to be informed whether the verifications carried out have been completed and what the procedure is.
On 14.01.2025, the Director of the National Bureau of Investigation, through a letter, explained that:
'From the verifications carried out at the Secretariat, Protocol, it results that the National Bureau of Investigation has not received a letter, report or denunciation from the citizen alleged to be Zaho Koka' .
We recall that on JANUARY 13, 2024, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, announced in a press conference that he had received information related to a letter sent to SPAK, where he said: " On 7.12.2024, a letter signed by Zaho Koka, an anonymous sender, was recorded. The letter contains information about Olsi Rama, Genti Xhixha and Ermal Hoxha. The letter contained a clear photo showing Olsi Rama and Genti Xhixha in a car in a European city. The letter also provided information about the kidnapping of a businessman with the initials VB.
In December 2015, now the fate of the letter, the letter was given for verification to the OPGJ with the initials ET
