The Albanian Parliament will consider on March 12 the SPAK request for authorization of the arrest of MP Belinda Balluku, which will be the first item of the plenary session at 10:00 a.m. At the same time, the Democratic Party has called a protest in front of the Parliament.

On Thursday, March 12, the majority in the Albanian Parliament is expected to reject SPAK's request to authorize the arrest of MP Belinda Balluku.

In the announcement of the agenda, the Assembly announces that this item will be the first, immediately after the start of the session at 10:00.

According to the Assembly agenda, before the presentation of the two reports prepared by the DP and the SP to the Mandates Council, MP Belinda Balluku will speak.

The opposition will then present the report drafted by the members of the Council on Rules of Procedure, Mandates and Immunity.
Likewise, the parliamentary majority, members of the Council on Rules of Procedure, Mandates and Immunity will present their position and then it will be put to a vote.

This draft decision requires a simple majority of votes for approval.

On the other hand, the Democratic Party has announced that the next national protest will be held on March 12, while Democratic leader Sali Berisha has called on Democratic supporters to gather in front of the Parliament.

The protest time has been announced at 10:00, which coincides with the start of the plenary session.

Berisha's calls to protesters outside the Parliament and in the morning, unlike other national protests that took place in the afternoon, focus precisely on the vote to lift Belinda Balluku's immunity.
