The Assembly has opened the way for SPAK to arrest Arben Ahmetaj and search his apartment. After several hours of debate, in the Council of Mandates PD and SP have agreed to remove the immunity of the former deputy prime minister.
For two days there have been debates and discussions in the Council of Mandates, as SPAK has demanded the arrest of the former minister, raising 3 charges against him. Yesterday it was the prosecutors who submitted their request, while today it was the lawyers. At the end of the meeting it was agreed that there will be no obstacles.
The opposition and the majority came out with two different reports, but in principle both approve the request of SPAK. The only difference is that the DP requested that the vote be held tomorrow in the session, while the majority has decided that there will be an extraordinary session on Monday, where the report will be voted on.
