There is no end to bad news for Prime Minister Edi Rama. The Italians are doing it to pieces, the internationals have opposed it for the anti-corruption commission. But it seems that bad news has come to him from across the Atlantic, since his friend, Charles McGonigal, has been put in a federal prison yesterday, after the sentences he received for the affairs with the Russians and the Albanian prime minister.

Also, according to the data of the Department of Justice, McGonigal has been isolated. It is learned that the former FBI agent asked the judge for a postponement until June 17, 2024, of entering the cell, but apparently this was refused.
Charles McGonigal was sentenced to 28 months in prison for receiving 225,000 dollars from officials related to Prime Minister Rama and concealing contacts with them. He was also sentenced to 4 years and 2 months in prison by a court in New York for ties to the Russians.
