DP leader Sali Berish has stated that he will soon announce the date of the national protest.
"We will soon announce to you the first national protest," Berisha said at a press conference.
He emphasized that the opposition was allowed to speak in the Assembly only after 9 plenary sessions.
"The drug majority or pseudo-majority has gone to the extreme. In the parliament, out of 9 sessions held, despite the most serious commitment of the opposition in every committee, in every session, you are witnesses that the opposition has been allowed to discuss only in one session, which means de facto annihilation of parliament and parliamentarism. Our attempt to transform parliament into a tribune of the speech of citizens and their interests, encounters absurdity, unprecedented banditry in the history of the country," he said.
The Chief Democrat announced that the DP will open the parliamentary-civic platform in front of the Council of Ministers building, as according to him, "democrats do not submit."
"We will reconsider the referendum and do everything necessary to annul this law, which overturns the legal order of the Albanian state, as it overturns at least four articles of the Constitution, overturns the Family Code, the Civil Code," warned the leader of the Democratic Party, after the approval of the Draft Law on Gender Equality.
