Socialist Party MP Iris Luarasi, in a statement to the media, spoke about gender equality, a draft law that was approved on Thursday by the Albanian Parliament. We have heard during this period that the draft law forces the use of 'gender-inclusive language', replacing the terms 'mother' and 'father' with neutral expressions such as 'parent 1' and 'parent 2'. Neither I nor my colleagues from the Socialist Party would ever vote for a law that would not give us the opportunity for children to not call us mother and father, and the terms parent 1 and parent 2 in the law are just a lie invented by those who have not read the draft law, but believe everything they read on social networks.

Trajtova vetëm njerin aspekt, atë se si 'dhjetshet këtu' për tu ngjitur në administratën e 'dhjetsheve' do hiqen të gjitha si 'dhjetshe' pa qenë të tilla. Kur të bëhet rregjistrimi do dali që 60% e popullsisë do jetë dhjetshe dhe 40% 'binare'. Njëjtë siç ka ndodhur me regjistrimet për besimin fetar dhe atë etnik. Nuk po them që 'dhjetshat'mos të marrin poste në administratën e të gjitha kategorive, por bazuar në meritë.
