Deputy Tritan Shehu has reacted to the decision of GJKKO to impose the security measure of house arrest for former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.
In a post he made on social networks, Shehu compared Albania with Russia, saying that they are at the same level of 'democracy'.
With what has happened, according to him, Albania aligns itself with world regimes where power is required to be maintained with repressive methods.

From today, Sali Berisha will remain under house arrest under police supervision.
The Special Prosecutor's Office has received authorization from the Assembly to raise the measure of arrest against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, a person under investigation for the Partizani case, due to the obligation to appear, which he did not respect under house arrest under police supervision and not to have any communication with persons other than family members in the apartment.
