Dashamir Shehi, chairman of LZHK, said that the opposition's battle should be with Edi Rama and not with Altin Dumani.
"These gentlemen have for the first time summoned some people to court that others had not done so far. I hope that something will come out of this story ," he said.
He also said that he has no personal knowledge of Altin Dumani and does not see him as an enemy of the opposition. Shehi stressed that the opposition was wrong with its attacks on the judiciary and creating the idea that the Prosecution represents a threat to them.
"Anyone who is honest has no reason to fear the Prosecution," said Shehi.
He recalled his long experience with the justice system. "If it were to be put in prison, half of those who have governed the country should have been put here," he added.
Shehi supported the SPAK investigations, appreciating that for the first time some figures are facing the law. He described this as a positive step for justice, underlining the need for the opposition to focus its energies on the current government and not on the investigative bodies.
