The deputy of the Socialist Party Erion Braçe has reacted strongly after the incident that happened during the meeting of the Municipal Council of Himara where the supporters of Fredi Beleri tried to block the meeting and in one case one of the attendees spat on the prefect of the district of Vlora, Vangjel Tavo.
He demanded that the law enforcement agencies act and stand up for the Albanian state, while emphasizing that Himara is an Albanian municipality and that Tavo was present at the meeting as a state official.
"Vangjel Tavo was there as the prefect of the Vlora district under whose jurisdiction is the Albanian municipality of Himara. So he was there as a representative of the Albanian state. This act of this filth, which is seen in the video, attacking, spitting and insulting an official of the Albanian state, should receive the punishment that the law provides. The law-enforcement agencies of this country should either surrender to the Albanian state or release it as the territory of these parts that seem to have gained immunity because Greece protects them. This thing must end", says Braçe.
