Democratic MP, Saimir Korreshi, in an interview commented on the gathering of supporters of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha under his apartment, where he is under house arrest. During the interview, Korreshi revealed the reason why he was not present.
He said that there are more important issues that the opposition MPs should deal with.
" I am not Shakespeare to deal with Romeo and Juliet's balcony. I would rather deal with the problems that the state has with respecting the law and with the state of agreement on how the opposition will call itself, what will the group of Berisha, Bardhi or Basha call it ", said Korreshi in "Report TV".
He further added that the people who gather under Berisha's window are similar to the fans of football teams who do not give up even when their team is in a bad situation or loses deeply.
" They see Berisha as an absolute leader, it's like sports fans, even when they lose badly, for example 7-0, they don't give up. I find it positive that he also needs to have supporters ", he added.
