The MP of PDIU, Mesila Doda, speaking about the "Beleri" case, said that he was used as a Trojan horse for certain interests.
Doda says that Beleri is a phenomenon that should not exist in Albanian politics.
She recalled when the main political forces united that Himara most did not end up in the hands of a Greek nationalist, so she takes the trigger from this to say that Beleri was deliberately placed there.
"I believe that Beleri is a phenomenon that should not exist in Albanian politics. I remember when the DP and SP joined forces so that Himara was not taken over by a person with Greek nationalist tendencies. Beleri is placed there on purpose to serve as a Trojan horse. The homeland is more important than any political interest or confrontation. It cannot be allowed that a man who has openly expressed his anti-Albanianism is established as a political candidate.
Remember, Albania and Greece are officially enemy states, they are at war. I don't know how the water agreement is supposed to be done when we haven't signed a peace treaty yet. This is the first step that must be taken to open a new page in the relations between the two countries", said Doda in an interview for News 24.
