The deputy of the Democratic Party, Tomor Alizoti, in his speech in the Parliament, emphasized that there is no corruption in Albania, but there is a project to steal from Albanians.
He said that Albania is the only country where parliamentarians are the richest people and according to him half of the government is in prison.
"There is no corruption in Albania, but there is a project to steal from Albanians. There's no way it won't be in the project when half of the government is in prison, when the head of the government appears in different files, McGonigal. How can you be rich in a poor country, how can you talk about stations when half of Albania is emigrating to feed. Alizoti stated that if a drug lord or a criminal group involved in the elections is mentioned, he will applaud them.
Alizoti challenged Prime Minister Rama to mention the name of a drug lord.
"Albania is the only country in the world that fights drugs without the names of drug lords. This is a question for the Prime Minister and the Minister of the Interior. How is it possible that the interior minister of Mexico and Ecuador dare to mention the drug lords by name. Can I challenge the Home Secretary here to name a drug lord?! Even the Elbasan gang. I can challenge the Prime Minister of Albania, he mentioned names, crime has names. Tell me, dear, who lead the fight for justice and the fight against crime: Who are the drug lords in Albania, who are the criminal groups involved in the elections. If you said that, I will sincerely applaud you", Alizoti said, among other things.
