The re-establishment has reacted after the Council of Mandates has approved with 6 votes in favor the request of SPAK to allow the arrest of former Prime Minister Berisha.
The Secretary of Public Relations, Jola Hysaj, has compared today's meeting with those of the communist regime, which states that Albania is in one of the most critical moments of 33 years of policy making.

SPAK request:
SPAK requests the granting of authorization for a harsher measure against Berisha, that of "house arrest", while earlier the measure of "compulsion to appear" was set, a measure which Berisha did not implement with the claim that the Special Prosecutor's Office had violated the Constitution by not requesting before the decision of the Parliament. Berisha was accused in connection with the privatization of the former Partizani complex about 15 years ago.
The former prime minister is under investigation for the privatization procedures of the former Partizani sports club, through which he allegedly favored his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi, one of the owners of the land where the former club was located and on which it was later erected a complex of buildings", writes Jola Hysaj.
