The Democratic Party is asking the CEC to launch a verification, while raising claims that 130,000 ballots are missing across the country.
The DP's request for an administrative investigation is unrelated to the requests for a vote recount by its candidates.
According to the DP, referring to the figures published by the CEC itself, there is a difference of over 130 thousand votes between the ballots found in the boxes and the printed ones. The DP's request only refers to the ballots used within the country.
Previously, the Democrats accused that what is known as the 'Bulgarian train' scheme was applied on May 11, but this accusation has been rejected by the Central Election Commission.
This request to the CEC was filed in parallel with a complaint that 'DP-ASHM' candidates have addressed to the Electoral College requesting a recount of preferential votes.
