The Speaker of the Parliament, Elisa Spiropali, held a meeting with the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, during her visit to Pristina within the framework of the Third International Forum on "Women, Peace and Security".

Speaker Spiropali and President Osmani discussed the acceleration of European and Euro-Atlantic integration and the growth of Kosovo's role in international relations. Albania's high prestige is a favorable circumstance for increasing support for these processes. It is time to lift sanctions against Kosovo and encourage the youngest democratic state in Europe towards membership in NATO and the Council of Europe.
Chairwoman Spiropali and President Osmani also highlighted the increased coordination for the protection of rights and the increased role of the Albanian factor in the region.
