Journalist Poli Hoxha believes that Sali Berisha is no longer worried about his party being taken away, but about how to face justice, after the appointment of the three-judge panel for the "Partizani" file affair today.
He no longer sees competition within the DP, nor any names that might dare to challenge him to take the blue seat.
Invited to Report TV's 'Studio Live', he stated that even those few critics who come out against the DP receive a very aggressive reaction and are suppressed, while the refusal to recount the votes within the candidates' party is another sign.
" Berisha will continue his battle with Justice. Today, a judging panel has also been appointed and now he no longer has to worry about the party, but about the battle with justice. I do not think there will be an internal war in the DP. They do not leave any voices against it and there are none. Even when someone emerges who will cry over the loss, like the case of Ilir Vrenozi, the "hero of the Democrats" during the campaign, who was attacked when he said he wanted to cry over the loss. Likewise, Nard Ndoka with the status where he stated that the cause of the loss should be seen within the leadership ", said Hoxha.
The journalist states that Berisha and the DP do not have principled battles over election theft, because if they had complaints about what they claim, they would have made them before the elections.
" If the DP had an interest in what it claims, it would have complained before the elections, because the OSCE-ODIHR had included them in the report and they closed the lists together and remained silent. Now they are complaining. I don't know why these statuses are made about war or internal clashes, but I think they are a signal and a message to critics. The chairman of the DP is the party. I think no one can stand up for analysis and criticism there, since Gazment Bardhi was not elected vice-chairman in a competition and neither was Agron Gjekmarkaj, so they have no right to demand analysis of forums ," he said for Report TV.
For him, the DP has turned into a bunker where Berisha's mission is to confront justice. Also, according to him, the DP has no interest in demanding a recount of votes within the party.
" Even Berisha doesn't say he is the leader of the DP anymore, but that he has a mission. The DP is a bunker where only he decides, Berisha is the leader and no one dares to criticize him. Even if Berisha runs again in September for the DP, he will win. Before the May 11 elections, 63 building permits were granted to the DP's entourage and its leaders. Now both parties don't want to open the ballot boxes, because a delegated vote has occurred, so with the Party, everyone does what they want. They are together, and this stems from the Electoral Code. The DP does not want a recount of votes within the party, because the votes were delegated there too ," he analyzes the situation within the opposition.
But will Berisha leave the party?
" I think that Berisha will not leave the party to any of these rumored ones. I will not leave it because this is dangerous. I think that Berishism will continue, there will be no new leader of the DP, because Berisha has a battle with justice. Even if there are names for leader in that party, of which we can give some, they will be names of a dead army. Meanwhile, Rama has the opposition by remote control, but it could turn into a problem for him. Rama has no rival ," the journalist argued for 'Studio Live'.
