The former deputy of the Democratic Party, Baki Shehi, has passed away.
The news was given by the chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha.
Through a post on Facebook, Basha writes that Shehi was a lover of his hometown, to which he dedicated his political activity with passion and humanity, through a long and tireless work.
"I learned with sadness of the death of Baki Sheh, deputy of the Democratic Party, general of the Armed Forces and passionate researcher of history. In love with his hometown, to which he dedicated his political activity with passion and humanity, through a long and tireless work, Baki Shehi painstakingly researched the ancient past of Ndroqi, giving life to a book that will remain a testament to his close connection with this community, which he served with devotion and love.
Although painfully challenged by the waves of life, General Baki Shehi always preserved the generosity and nobility with which he will be remembered by his friends and colleagues. With his departure from this life, the Democratic Party lost one of its great contributors.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family, relatives and many friends and well-wishers.
May he rest in peace!", said Basha.
