Prime Minister Edi Rama has chosen irony and jokes to comment on some of the most well-known names in Albanian journalism, during an interview for "Koha Jonë" with Nikoll Lesi.
When asked about various media figures, Rama gave short but sharp answers. For Blendi Fevziu, he used the term "traveler", while Ylli Rakipi was described as "chatterbox". For Mero Bazen, he only said one word: "sqepar".
When referring to Grida Duma and Erla Mëhilli, Rama said that "they are two different things", while humorously adding that Erla is his "distant cousin".
For Arjan Çani, the prime minister used the epithet "gossip man", while for Andi Bushati he initially expressed appreciation for his journalism, before ironically saying: "He was small and overthrew a regime. Now he is big and wants a regime."
Even Frrok Çupi and Baton Haxhiu each received a short definition: "Mirditor" and "Kosovar".
One of the most stinging statements was about Çim Peka. Rama said that, if he were in the old days of the newspaper "Koha Jonë", "he would have been one of those in the white car", adding ironically: "They would have kept him as a driver".
