The Assembly is expected to be involved in debates in today's session, with a series of issues on the agenda, mainly interpellations.
According to the agenda, deputies will first approve the minutes of the plenary session of May 7, 2026, while parliamentary announcements are expected to follow.
The focus of the session will be the motion for debate regarding the issues identified in the annual report of the US Department of State on the investment climate in Albania, as well as the findings of the European Commission's progress report "On the process of membership of the Republic of Albania in the European Union".
The opposition and the majority are expected to clash in Parliament, as DP MPs accuse Prime Minister Edi Rama of blocking EU integration due to government scandals.
The Assembly is also expected to hold several interpellations with members of the government cabinet. MP Tritan Shehu has requested an interpellation with Prime Minister Edi Rama, while MPs Agron Shehaj and Erald Kapri have requested an interpellation with Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu.

The agenda also includes interpellations with the Minister of Finance, Petrit Malaj, requested by MP Enno Bozdo, as well as with the Minister of State for Local Government, Ervin Demo, requested by MP Erion Braçe.
Also, MPs Erion Braçe, Agron Shehaj and Erald Kapri have requested interpellations with the Minister of Internal Affairs, Besfort Lamallari.
The session is expected to close with discussions on issues outside the agenda.
