Former MP Ervin Salianji has stated that no more than 10,000 members will participate in the Democratic Party's presidential elections.
He further expressed his willingness to place a bet that by challenging a bet that the cards will show an inflated increase in numbers by 300%. Further, Salianji compared Berisha's two contradictory statements regarding the number of candidates and the fairness of the competition within the DP.
"No more than 10 thousand members will vote. In Sali Berisha's statement, if last time there were 44 thousand members, there will be 54 thousand. In reality, there will be no more than 10 thousand members. I'm betting on you. If they haven't increased the real number by 300% on paper, we have another test. When there was a 1-candidate race in 2019, he came out and said that 'anyone who says that a 1-candidate race is fair, may the shame of history cover them!' Now he says 'a 1-candidate race is democratic!'" said Salianji, on "Repolitix" on Report TV.
