After the end of the meeting of the National Council of DP, Myslim Murrizi stated that DP belongs to those who founded it and who stayed with it without hesitation.
In a statement to the media, Murrizi emphasized that even though he was expelled from the party, he did not run away and will continue to speak as long as he remains a member of the National Council.
Regarding his political ambitions, Murrizi has announced that he will compete in the PD primaries and has expressed his desire to be a candidate, stressing that deputies should be elected by the citizens and not appointed unilaterally.
He has criticized the way some individuals within the party stay in high positions without going through a voting process and due respect.
Murrizi has demanded a stronger implementation of the party's statute and greater transparency in the selection of leadership members and candidates. He has argued that the members of the leadership who were not voted do not enjoy due respect and that this situation is one of the factors that contribute to the crises and internal divisions of the party, referring to Agron Gjekmarkaj and Gazment Bardhi.
"The PD belongs to those who founded it and who have stayed with it without hesitation, I will speak for as long as I am a member of the National Council. I was expelled, I never left.
Muslim Murrizi is excluded from Luli and the flowers that surrounded him. I was excluded, Jozefina, Astrit Patozi were not excluded and I found a trick to compete. I will compete in the primaries, I have ambitions to be a candidate, the deputies choose the citizens", he said.
Asked about the district leaders for the 2025 electoral campaign, Murrizi said that he is against it because according to him they should have been elected by vote.
"There are deputies who see the cup, I would like the statute to be implemented and everyone who wants to make a career within the party subject to vote. Members of the presidency without a vote can also come there, they do not enjoy the respect, not mine but also many to others", said Murrizi.
