Basha removed all those who opposed him from the leadership dome and appointed his loyalists there...

Lulzim Basha has cleared the party of critics today. He convened the National Council today and through it, he expelled from leadership positions anyone who opposed him. The first to suffer was Gazment Bardhi, while 4 new vice-presidents were also elected and the heads of the secretariats were changed.

From the General Secretary to the vice-presidents and heads of secretariats, they are automatically members of the Presidency. So also, today 15 new members were elected to the Council, removing a very large number from the old Presidency.

In August 2021, DP convened the National Council and there the new members of the leadership were determined. But only some have been confirmed, as Basha dismissed them all, since most of them have opposed him.

The names chosen in 2021 were: Gert Bogdani; Tomorr Alizoti; Agron Gjekmarkaj; Ervin Salianji; Flag Noka; Oerd Bylykbashi; Kreshnik Collaku; Aldo Bumci; Profit Zekthi; Gent Strazimiri; Oriola Pampuri; Chupi Gift; Juela Hamati; Taulanda Jupi; I was born Metaliaj.

But then this list was changed along the way. Basha expelled several deputies from the group and other names were introduced, mostly loyal to him, but their appointment has opened a debate. Some of them are: Butterfly Açka; We are Ghana; Mirela Karabina; Taulant Zeneli; Endri Hasa; Indrit Sefa; Kreshnik Collaku; Roland Bejko; Gentian Gaba; Agron Kapllanaj; Profit Zekthi; Gazmend Koduzi; Merita Bakiu; Xhemal Gjunkshi; Taulanda Jupi; Orjola Pampuri; Arbi Agalliu.

But today Basha has decided to completely restructure the Presidency and has left only his loyalists there. He dismissed Dhurata Çupi, Agron Gjekmarkaj, Salianji, as well as Berisha's supporters such as Gerti Bogdani, Aldo Bumçi or Oerd Bylykbashi.

The new names of the Presidency are: Agron Kapllanaj; Andia Olliri; Anton Koka; Azgan Haklaj; Enriqueta Papa; Eralda Tase; Profit Zekthi; Gazmend Koduzi; Marinela Ziu; Mateo Spaho; Merita Bakiu; Guest Elezi; Oriela Nebiaj; Pellumb Seferi and Selaudin Jakupllari.

These changes are not accepted by Bardhi's group and some others. However, it remains to be seen how the situation will be now in DP, will it help the union or will we have a deepening of the division. / Pamphlet
