Sali Berisha was yesterday for the first time in SPAK to be interrogated regarding the privatization of the Partizani complex. After leaving SPAK, he attacked the Special Prosecutor's Office, calling them a structured criminal group.
For lawyer Spartak Ngjela, laws and institutions must be respected.
" Berisha does not respect the state. SPAK is a constitutional body. The constitution came out with 140, which means that Sali Berisha also voted for SPAK. Why did you vote? He could not resist. When you voted in the parliament, why do you come out and say is this.. are you going to make fun of the people or yourself ", commented lawyer Spartak Ngjela in an interview for "Today live in Albania" on Report TV.
Regarding the January 21 file, the lawyer says that justice is needed. According to him, people were killed and the culprits should be punished.
" Let January 21 continue because people were killed. It was a historical shame for the Albanian nation. Innocent people were killed. A new trial opens the trial. They were killed by the state. Let's know who are the culprits. Let the truth be revealed ," he said.
Asked if former Prime Minister Berisha, former Interior Minister Lulzim Basha should be summoned, Ngjela said: " Of course they will be taken." Today, in social consciousness, those you mentioned are called guilty. Let's see how the judicial process will turn out in SPAK, which is an internationally protected independent court. Let's see what happened ."
