Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting with the Socialist Party parliamentary group. During his speech, Rama warned that, just like in the EU, food products in Albania could be blocked because they do not meet safety criteria.
The head of government emphasized that no one will be pardoned, in the name of the need to continue work.
"The same criteria will also apply in Albania, which means that foods in Albania can also be blocked because they do not meet safety criteria.
Then, in the most pessimistic scenario, it means that everything we eat will be imported, I'm going to the extreme, for this reason it takes a lot of work, but also a lot of determination on our part as decision-makers to not forgive anyone or anything in the name of the need to continue working.
"Everyone must be placed in positions of responsibility and work, because in the best case scenario there are only 10 years ahead, if we count 2030 as the year we sat at the EU table, and 5 years that we hope to negotiate. The work to be done is very big," said the Prime Minister.
