The deputy of the Socialist Party, Erjon Braçe, reacted after the statement of Dhurata Çup, who said that in the opposition protest, the headquarters of the SP was not burned, but Molotov cocktails were simply thrown.
Braçe says that the PD deputy said that Molotov was thrown "as if she had thrown rice at a wedding".
"We did not burn down the headquarters of the Socialist Party; We just threw Molotov cocktails! And he says it like he threw rice at the wedding! Do you understand anything?", wrote Braçe in a reaction on Facebook.
In a television interview, Çupi said that they did not burn the SP headquarters, but simply threw mortars, while repeating the request for a technical government.
"We did not burn the headquarters of the SP. A molotov was just thrown. If the citizens think that they should protest in front of the government, then they will respect the citizen's decision. Today we have increased corruption and these are causes that are supported by the citizens. There is nothing wrong with protests, they only develop democracy.
We cannot hide the problems that Albania has. A technical government is necessary in Albania, as there are no free elections, but we will enter the elections. We are entering the elections unevenly", said the DP deputy.
