There is no peace in the PS, Braçe: Spiropal's concerns remain,
Braçe-Rama-Spiropali

The socialist MP acknowledges the problems raised by Spiropali and speaks about the need to reorganize and open up the party...

There is no peace within the Socialist Party, as debates and critical voices continue to surface.

Following concerns raised earlier by Elisa Spiropali, Socialist MP Erion Braçe has also publicly articulated his reservations about the way the party functions.

Braçe acknowledged that within the SP there are individuals who have benefited from positions and privileges without fully deserving them, emphasizing that some socialists have been left without the appreciation they deserve. He stated that the party has invested in individuals and not the other way around, while adding that many ordinary members have expected more from their commitment over the years.

Asked on "Top News" about the recent clashes and specifically about the relationship with Spiropali, Braçe avoided commenting on specific names, but admitted that the concerns raised by her are real and shared by others within the party. According to him, the recent discussions show that there is a series of problems that require solutions.

He stressed that the very fact that the SP is talking about “re-energizing”, openness and more internal democracy is a direct admission that the party needs reflection and change. However, Braçe expressed his reluctance to make public internal debates, emphasizing that “household matters” should remain within it.

-Yesterday there were discussions within the SP. The clash at a distance or even face to face of what is happening in the SP. Do you have an opinion on the different voices in the SP, a comment that was discussed yesterday was the one that Rama may have made to Elisa Spiropali: "The SP and I are invested in you, you will not speak anymore."

Erion Braçe: The SP invested in us, not us in the SP.

-To Spiropali in this case

Erion Braçe: I speak for myself, I prefer not to speak about names. I thought that the thing was not only being said to Mrs. Spiropali, but also to me or others in the hall. I continue to be in deficit in the SP. There are many people in the SP who have not had the opportunity that I have had. They are simple socialists, at different stages, but they too have expected from the SP and have not received what they deserved.

-Are there others who have received more than they deserved?

Erion Braçe: Of course there are plenty.

-Is Spiropali such a case?

Erion Braçe: It's not for me to judge contributions to the SP. I think it's up to the party to give them what they deserve through democratic processes.

-Is there a clash within the SP between Spiropali and Rama?

Erion Braçe: For what? I prefer not to talk about household matters. It is my principle that household matters remain at home, they do not go outside. Ms. Spiropali has raised some concerns that are valid, for me they are valid, for others there, and for the Prime Minister. The moment we say that we must reenergize the SP, that we must open the SP, that we must make it more democratic, we have practically accepted a series of problems that need to be cured.
