Kimberly Guilfoyle, the US ambassador to Greece, was present in Tirana today, where she participated in the signing of an agreement regarding energy security.
In a post on social media, the American diplomat considers the agreement historic, while emphasizing that the United States, Albania, and Greece work together.
“ I was honored to travel to Tirana to advance the US President’s energy agenda and to join Prime Minister Edi Rama to participate in the signing ceremony of a historic agreement between Albania, Venture Global and Aktor LNG USA for a 20-year agreement for US LNG.
This $6 billion commitment strengthens energy security and national security across the region. We are proud to build on the excellent work of Secretary Burgum, Secretary Wright, and the National Council on Energy Dominance.
"When the United States, Albania, and Greece work together, this region is more connected, safer, and more prosperous ," Guilfoyle wrote on social media.
