Former MP Flutura Açka has reacted harshly to the leadership of the Democratic Party, bringing to attention the internal clashes and the expulsion of members who supported another wing within the party.
She argues that recent developments show that the current leaders are moving closer to positions they previously opposed. According to her, the way in which different voices within the party were treated remains unjustified and requires accountability.

In her assessment, the changes to the Electoral Code and the actions taken by the DP leaders contributed to the result that gave the government a majority. She also links this development to the decision to expel her from the parliamentary group.
