The head of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, while speaking about the political situation in the country, also stopped at the agreement between the SP and Reestablishment, calling it a 'bargain'.
Invited to the show "Top Story", Basha added that if the proposals for open lists, electronic voting and the diaspora vote go to the Assembly for approval, they will have their vote.
Excerpts from the interview and panelists' intervention:
Robert Rakipllari : SP has given up on making the rules of the game with the minority of the opposition, and has chosen the majority so that the elections will not be contested tomorrow. It is a parliamentary committee where there are three to three, and there is no change. Before they accused you, now you accuse them…
Lulzim Basha : It is clear that the essence is something else, the process is something else and it has received a heavy blow. In this format for me it's 'head or pil', it's in Rama's hand. If they are willing to go ahead with a proposal that goes beyond the political character, such as an open list, electronic voting, the vote of immigrants, they have our vote! Everything else above these, such as the vetting of politicians, or the empowerment of SPAK for election crimes, have our vote. We are oriented to the product and not the chair, they are to the chair.
