Deputy Oriola Pampuri responded to the efforts of Sali Berisha and Gazment Bardhi to unite the deputies of the democratic parliamentary group who are divided in several factions.
In an interview in "Euroneës Albania", the democratic deputy who is aligned with Lulzim Basha asked the head of the parliamentary group to clarify why he changed his attitude towards Berisha, who was declared non grata.
" Those who are today as the great fighters of the union, have been the biggest fighters against non-women. And to be honest, moving at a dizzying speed of positions in politics gives you a sense of some kind of instability. Those who today demand the unification of the parliamentary group must first explain why they insisted on being here ," Pampuri said.
Pampuri explained why he chose not to support Berisha.
" I cannot move forward against the USA, EU and Great Britain, this is absurd. I was not even forced by Mr. Basha to be there, it has been my personal and steadfast position from the beginning until today and no one else blackmails me and does not force me to take positions on this side or the other, "said the deputy of PD.
On Saturday, under the leadership of Lulzim Basha, the assembly of the democratic party will be held, which has on the agenda changes in the party statute and the election of the national assembly.
