The Chairperson of the Integration Commission, Jorida Tabaku, did not welcome the exclusion of the opposition from the inauguration of the Namazgja mosque.
Invited to the show "No Censorship" on RTSH, Tabaku said that this is repeated as in the case of the inauguration of the NATO base.
" The concern I felt yesterday was the patronage of any activity, excluding the opposition from any activity. I did not like at all that the government did not implement our religious harmony to have and expand it with the entire political spectrum. What would be the harm if there were guests from the opposition? The government did the same with the NATO base. Religious harmony should have been respected even for those who have the same faith in all branches of politics, " said Tabaku in the show "Pa Censure".
When she was asked what message the exclusion from the ceremony of the President of the Muslim Community gave to Muslim believers and society.
Jorida Tabaku, who belongs to the Islamic faith herself, did not give a direct answer, trying not to become part of the debate.
"Albania has an unparalleled religious harmony and every time politics has been introduced, it has ruined it. I would prefer that this harmony, which I ask the majority to respect, should not be broken by me. That's why I don't want to get involved in this debate, for the sake of my faith, but at the same time for the sake of many Muslims who wished for this mosque to be added to Tirana, which I consider to be a spiritual asset," said Jorida Tabaku.
