Following the harsh stance of EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos regarding Sali Berisha's attack on Ambassador Silvio Gonzato, Prime Minister Edi Rama has also reacted.

" However, as we say in Albanian, let the dogs bark, the caravan moves forward ," Rama writes, as he shares Marta Kos's stance.
" We apologize for the offensive way in which a very noble law, fully in line with EU principles on gender equality and non-discrimination, has been misused to distort public perception, as well as for the way in which the EU Ambassador has been used for such a low purpose. However, as we say in Albanian, let the dogs bark, the caravan moves forward ," Rama wrote in X.
Today, before entering the Assembly, Sali Berisha attacked EU Ambassador Silvio Gonzato for the draft law on gender equality, saying that he cannot impose his personal beliefs on society.
Berisha also accused the ambassador of 'ordering' that this draft law be approved in the session.
