The head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, has responded to Nikola's letter, regarding the mandate of MP Olta Xhaçka.
During a meeting with the democrats in Kavaja, Bardhi said that the majority is ignoring the Constitution, not allowing the mandate of deputy Olta Xhaçka to be removed.
According to him, the former foreign minister should have been stripped of her mandate a year ago after making her husband a strategic investor and robbing 10,000 square meters of property to build a resort.
"Being a Kavaje boy, I am in my house. Even after 33 years, Kavaja has shown the way to PD and shown us what we should do until the next parliamentary elections. I am not here to declare victory, but I am convinced that if we do exactly what you did on May 14, we will make the victory of the Democratic Party a reality in the elections of 2025. What is our responsibility, the leadership of the party, is don't waste your trust.
I don't want and I have no intention of stopping at Edi Rama's government, because you feel more about Edi Rama's bad governance than we do as MPs. Sometimes even because of our mistakes we have increased your difficulties and it is not too much to apologize and I am fully convinced that that apology should be accompanied by a clear path that does not repeat mistakes. PD has no more time to waste. PD is the only hope for Albania to get better, to move forward and not get stuck in this 12-year governing model that Edi Rama has offered us.

While for the opposition we have violations of the Constitution, imprisonment in violation of the Constitution, while in the case of Edi Rama we have ignorance of the Constitution, political protection against those who loot, not less than 10,000 square meters of property. This was the model that Edi Rama offered us, and the burden has fallen on the DP to make the change", said Bardhi.
