The Democratic Party will hold a national protest against the Rama Government on the afternoon of December 22. This is the first national protest that the Democratic Party has called after losing the May 11 parliamentary elections, which the opposition led by Sali Berisha considers to be a manipulated electoral farce.
Monday's protest will start at 6:00 PM on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard, and it is expected to be followed by a wave of protests, which according to Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha, will culminate in the ouster of Edi Rama as Prime Minister.
The DP is seeking a caretaker government that will prepare the country for early parliamentary elections, while Edi Rama secured 83 parliamentary mandates on May 11, giving him a consolidated majority in the Assembly for a 4th consecutive government mandate.
Meanwhile, the protest slogan has also been published on social networks, inviting citizens to join the national rally called by the DP.
"Down with Edi Rama," reads the slogan, which is accompanied by an upside-down photo of the Prime Minister.

So far, the Democrats have organized several mini-protests under Edi Rama's office, in the form of civic-parliamentary rostrums, where MPs and citizens deliver speeches against the Government.
