Analyst Roland Bejko stated that Sali Berisha's meetings are mainly with the closest people, who often avoid telling him the truth due to their loyalty to him.
According to Bejko, after successive defeats and disappointment, the unity created around Berisha is fading, while promises for a quick return to power have not been fulfilled.
He stressed that the pressure on Berisha has increased.
"The meetings that Berisha holds are mainly with his closest people, with those he trusts the most. We have noticed that these people, out of their great love for Berisha, often feel embarrassed to tell him the truth. They go to the maximum in support of some names that come after Berisha. In Lezha, he said: "It's so difficult for you to inherit somewhere else?"
The point of saturation has been reached, after losing all the elections and there was disappointment with Basha, when they were ready to take power and the defeat was mild. With the return of Berisha, as a charismatic, honest and victimized figure after being declared "non grata", a temporary unity was created. Berisha promised them that if he were president for six months, he would return them to power, but today they understand the real situation and confront it with what Berisha tells them.
Beyond the Democratic Party is the right and a disgruntled electorate that is not coming together within the DP. The pressure on Berisha is very strong and for the first time since he has been chairman, figures like Ervin Salianji are coming forward and holding meetings with other Democratic supporters.
"Ervini has an advantage, because after his release from prison, the party considered him a hero and a victimized figure due to the violence that, according to them, the majority exercised, " Bejko told Real Story.
