The Berlin process, the president of the European Council arrives in Tirana

The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, welcomed the President of the European Council Charles Michael in Tirana.

The EC President is coming to Tirana on the sidelines of the Summit that is taking place today in our country.

The Berlin process is an initiative that aims to increase regional cooperation in the Western Balkans, but also to help this region get closer to the big European family as soon as possible.

In the agenda, which has been published by the press office of the prime minister, it is expected that the leaders of the Balkan countries, the member states of the European Union and the highest representatives of the EU, will focus on two main topics, namely;

Integrating the region into the European common market and improving convergence with the EU, and supporting the green and digital transition in the Western Balkans.
