Today's meeting of the Laws Commission, where the law on the production and sale of weapons was discussed, was accompanied by debates.
The vice president of the Laws Commission, Dhurata Çupi, argued fiercely with the socialists regarding the law for the creation of a state company for the production of weapons, arguing that all procedures are being violated.
Çupi, in the ongoing debate with Klotilda Bushka, said that there is no study and evaluation of what the state gains in this matter, while he said that there is no evaluation of the army's properties that will be used for this society.
"The law on the creation of a state company for the production of weapons is first reviewed without respecting the procedure and deadlines of the Parliament regulation. The regulation sets the review deadline after 2 weeks have passed since the filing. Secondly; this society will be based on a draft law that has not yet been approved in the Assembly. A shame! The third is a company that is created without determining what percentage the non-public partner will have in this company. Why do you need 6.5 million euros to create this company? Why haven't you determined how much the army properties that you will use for this company are valued at?
This law is clientelistic, commissioned, and the next act of this majority to create a theft scheme. You are stealing the money of the Albanians to use for the state party tomorrow in the elections", said Çupi.
