The American professor teases: Zelensky is ready to hear more nonsense from
Edward Joseph

The American professor, Edward Joseph, has commented on the meeting of the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, with his Serbian counterpart, Aleksandar Vucic.

He says that Zelensky should get ready to hear nonsense from Vucic about the "neutrality" of his country, saying that false neutrality is even worse than neutrality itself, Express reports.

"Vucic says he will have a one-on-one meeting with Zelensky on Tuesday in Athens. President Zelenskyy, be prepared to hear a lot of nonsense about Serbian "neutrality" over Russian aggression against your country. As you know, the only thing worse than neutrality is false neutrality," wrote Josepsh.

He says Serbia not only refuses to implement sanctions on Russia, but Belgrade openly flouts EU policy by welcoming RT and Sputnik, promoting pro-Russian narratives across the region.

Also, Joseph mentioned the sending of weapons to Russia from Serbia.

"Vucic and Vulin know for sure how much Serbian ammunition goes to Ukraine. Do you know how much Serbian ammunition goes to Russia?".

The American professor says that the votes at the UN condemning the Russian aggression in Ukraine were only for reasons of Kosovo and not for solidarity with Ukraine.

"Serbian president and prime minister admit that votes on UN resolutions condemning Russia are about preserving Serbia's claim to Kosovo - not solidarity with Ukraine."

He also spoke about Serbia's energy relations with Russia.

"Serbia has doubled Russian oil, building a new pipeline with Hungary. If your country, Ukraine, ends the transit of Russian gas to Hungary, Belgrade will replace it with Russian gas. See? Serbia maintains its energy relations with Russia...".

Joseph highlighted Vucic's "neutrality" in relation to Russia.

A "neutral" would have remained calm during Wagner's uprising; instead, Vucic hailed Putin's "resolute, clear and strong-willed response", claiming that only Putin could have succeeded. It is no wonder that Russia enjoys support in Serbia", he said.

Joseph finally had a call to the Ukrainian president.

"President Zelensky, don't fall into the trap of trying to seduce Vučić. His relationship with Russia – and his power – rests on the isolation of Kosovo. We know this from the rare and sharp accusations between Belgrade and Moscow about moving forward in Kosovo", the researcher added.

An appeal is filed against the decision on the detention of the suspects in the state reserves affair.
