DP protest, Gjekmarkaj: Albanians today must say stop to rampant corruption and misgovernance

The vice-president of the Democratic Party, Argon Gjekmarkaj, just a few minutes before the start of the national opposition protest, said that the good news is that thousands of citizens from all over Albania are joining this protest.

Gjekmarkaj said that Albanians today must put a stop to bad governance, rampant corruption and political arrests.

"The good news of this day is that there are thousands who are flooding from all over Albania and the citizens of Tirana are moving towards the square. Today the government has many reasons to be afraid and the Albanian people have more reasons to be brave.
