"Protest and union in one day", Edi Paloka: February 20, will not be

The February 20 protest is the first informal act of unification in the DP. For the first time since they split into different camps after Basha's decision to exclude Berisha from the parliamentary group, the deputies represented by Gazment Bardhi have agreed to work together to organize the protest with the deputies who support Mr. Berisha.

This was confirmed in an interview for the show "No Censorship" on RTSH, DP deputy, Edi Paloka.

On Monday, a meeting of the National Council was called for the protest, and this is the first time that the parliamentary group, represented by Mr. Bardhi, will participate in the meeting at the PD headquarters.

" I believe that on the day of the meeting there will be something related to the merger of the DP. In the center will be February 20, but I also invite the other deputies who will be part of the preparation of February 20, and here we have agreed, to participate ", said Paloka.

But what will happen on February 20, apart from the demonstration of the revolt with the presence of citizens? Edi Paloka reserved himself to give a clear answer, as always happens in such cases. But he quoted Mayor Berisha to create an idea that February 20, maybe it won't be the next round on the boulevard.

" Berisha said, you lead the people once, they lead you once. In 32 years, I have participated in many protests and ended up in jail when I led the protests. And from experience I can tell you that what Berisha says is true. Anything can happen ," said Paloka.

Excerpt from the interview:

Elona Meço : What is the purpose of the February 20 protest? What should we expect?

Edi Paloka : All the discontent, the revolt that the citizens express every day at home, with family, with friends, on social networks and everywhere else and it does not explode as it should explode, I hope that at least on February 20, with their presence, they express the revolt , being at least present at the protest.

Elona Meço : Then what happens? Run home?

Edi Paloka : Berisha said, "you lead the people once, they lead you once".

Elona Meço : Is this the case that the people lead you?

Edi Paloka : She is not known.

Elona Meço : From my experience in DP, nothing was unexpected in the protests, everything was known.

Edi Paloka : In 32 years, I have participated in many protests and ended up in prison, when I was leading the protests. And from experience I can tell you that what Berisha says is true. Anything can happen.

Elona Meço : But when the head of the party wants it, the leadership of the party.

Edi Paloka : The head of the party is enough not to get in the way. All the more so that in this protest there will not be a head to direct or someone to tell them "do this or that." We will all be there the same.

Elona Meço : Will you stand before the prime minister?

Edi Paloka : You will find out the strategy at the right moment. The first intention is to show the dissatisfaction and revolt of the citizens with their presence. What February 20th will bring, let's leave it to February 20th.

Elona Meço : Is everything open?

Edi Paloka : Of course!

Elona Meço : The national council that will meet on Monday will be only for the protest or is it related to the merger of DP?

Edi Paloka : Of course, they are all elements. I believe that on the day of the meeting there will be something related to the merger of the DP. In the center will be February 20, but I also invite the other deputies who will be part of the preparation of February 20, and here we have agreed, to participate.

Elona Meço : So you will organize it on February 20 together with the deputies of the group represented by Mr. Bardhi?

Edi Paloka : Yes, we are together on February 20. We will also carry out the activities together, we will go out together to raise people in protest.

Elona Meço : The National Council has received the tax to change the status. Is this the case on Monday?

Edi Paloka : No, but we have received the tax for this work, to make the changes in such a case.
