Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha seems to have drowned himself with the publication of documents by the British. He appeared today in front of the journalists to justify the declaration 'non grata', but in fact the facts are many and show that Berisha has finished his job.
Among many documents, Berisha took out today the letter that the British sent him, the moment he was declared unwanted. They inform him never to attempt to set foot on British soil.
"The purpose of this letter is to inform you that on 19 July 2022, after careful consideration, the Home Secretary personally ordered that you be removed from the United Kingdom on grounds of criminality and corruption on the basis that your presence in the United Kingdom is not considered favorable to the public good as a result of the assessment that you have clear links to organized crime groups and criminals who have posed a threat to public safety in Albania and the UK and that you are willing to use these links to further beyond your political ambitions and the assessment that you have used your elected positions to engage in corruption and criminal behavior to enrich yourself and your inner circle, in particular your former electoral adviser Damir Fazlliç,which you then defended when evidence of criminality emerged", says the letter.

Regarding the trip to London, the Home Office points out to the former Albanian Prime Minister that he should not try to travel to Great Britain, even by transit, as the airline will be notified of the ban order against him.
“ You should not attempt to travel to the UK as you will be refused entry. As you have been excluded from the UK by the Secretary of State, you are someone in respect of whom a carrier may be refused authority to travel to the UK under paragraph 14(e) of the Withholding Authority Scheme 2021.
You must not attempt to travel to the United Kingdom, even for transit purposes. In accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018, the Home Office treats all personal information confidentially ," the document states.
Unlike the Americans, the British have informed the Albanian authorities and made all the documents available to them. This means that the prosecution has a voluminous file if it is going to start investigations.
