The political leader of the PL in Berat, Lefter Maliqi, has stated that an agreement with the Democratic Party will be reached by March 2 or 3. He also stated that the coalition will be formed with the sole purpose of achieving victory.
"The agreement with the DP will be made within the 2-3rd, but the union must achieve victory. I call myself a local leader and I want to say that the candidate has a lot to do with it, because the people want honest candidates who solve the problems of the people. I have come out here and said that the Berat district could be a surprise 4 to 3, knowing that the candidates must be more qualified.
"You need to work at the grassroots level and meet the voters. You shouldn't just think about becoming an MP. I have always continued my meetings. I hope to become an MP. I want to take over the municipality of Kuçova because it is a robbed municipality," he told "Ora News".
